We are an impact church! Where lives are changing! We are: Seeking, Bringing, Reaching, Building and Sending.
- Seeking: seeking God in prayer, for wisdom, guidance, and instruction for the body.
- Bringing: bringing people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and receiving them as members.
- Reaching: reaching out to assist with the needs of one another in Christian love.
- Building: building, and maturing the members in their relationship with Christ through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word.
- Sending: sending members throughout the world as witnesses for Jesus Christ.
The vision of THE BODY OF CHRIST CHURCH AND MINISTRIES, is encompassed in the following: Then the Lord answered me and said “Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run who reads it.” Habakkuk 2:2 (NKJV)
THE BODY OF CHRIST CHURCH AND MINISTRIES, VISION IS TO B.U.I.L.D.:
(a) Building a church ministry where lives are changed, souls are saved and added to the church through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. That we will have total commitment from our members to serve and support the ministry, by the giving of their time, resources, and spiritual gifts. (Acts 2:1-47, Mark 16:15-16, Hebrews 10:39, Romans 10:13, I Corinthians 10:33, I Timothy 4:12)
(b) Uniting ourselves as a body of believers in worship, fellowship, counsel, and instruction through God’s Word. Where members exercise their spiritual gifts and the offices provided for in God’s Word. (I Corinthians 12:1-31, Mark 16:18, James 5:14, I John 4:1, Romans 12:4-8).
(c) Investing our time, efforts, and resources in each other’s lives to restore and rebuild our communities by developing outreach ministries that will assist in meeting the needs of our community and communities abroad. (Philippians 2:2, Matthew 25:34-40, Galatians 6:10, Psalms 142:7, 146:7, Luke 4:18, I Peter 3:19, Proverbs 19:17, Luke 3:11, II Corinthians 8:14-15).
(d) Leading to depending on the guidance of the Holy Spirit to order our steps and direct our paths to where God is taking us and to do what God is asking us. We believe that God’s Word is the only source to bring change in people’s lives, homes, communities and the world ( John 14:26, Luke 4:18-19)
(e) Developing aggressive, multifaceted church ministries according to God’s Word, where the gospel is preached and taught to prepare individuals and families to be what God intended for the family to be (Luke 4). Also, to raise up preachers with a similar vision to reach the lost and poor (I Chronicles 9:22-23, Titus 1:5, Acts 14:23). To send them out with the guidance and help of this Church to start other Churches (Acts 15:41, 16:5). As the Lord leads and provides, we will provide them with or build them a structure for a Church. We will oversee and help the new work until it becomes solid, stable and Holy Spirit sufficient, at which time they will become financially independent, but will not become independent of the Apostolic authority of THE BODY OF CHRIST CHURCH AND MINISTRIES, headquarters Church and will operate under the corporate charter of THE BODY OF CHRIST CHURCH AND MINISTRIES.
